what about global warming, nuclear warfare, poverty?! see, look at in from a more AERIAL point of view. you just received a common test paper, in one of the 17 JCs in some small little country called Singapore, a tiny part of this continent named Asia, one of 7 huge continents of the planet Earth, which is but a solid mass that is present in our Universe, one of the thousands, maybe millions of galaxies existent. and we haven't even considered the fact that there are billions and billions of people all around you, bustling about in their own lives, unknowing of your existence, much less your school grades.

well if that doesn't persuade you, this might provide a lil comfort. famous names, people who made a huge impact on Mankind, Michael Jackson, Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa, all these people didn't score straight-As on THEIR tests!

i shall not dwell on such sorrowful events, and relive the excruciating pain of having a beloved team get axed out of the competition. instead, i shall talk about the Annual International Ballroom Dancing Competition held at Orchid Country Club yesterday. wooooaah, it was uber-cool seeing the dancers do their thing!

my favourites are the jive, quick step, viennese waltz, paso doble and cha-cha. the costumes all so shimmery and swishy and the dancers looked so confident and flowy and so... in tune with the sound of Nature! haha. but seriously.... they looked as if they were born to dance. ahh, beauty. marvelous! captivating!

there were little kids as young as 7 years old (sq, don't even think about it!) and as old as 50 years. the lil kids were SUPER cute, there was this cute skinny tiny little boy who danced FANTASTICALLY, even better than our school's latin dancers. these dancers put our school's latin dancers to SHAME, PURE SHAME. haha.

oh, and the food sucked by the way. they served the usual chinese restaurant food la, eat until sian liao. nothing special, shan't comment much.

by the by, sq, sihan wants to learn ballroom right? heard from gloria... cool man!!! hehe
