People people people!! lend me your ears!!

i just went to holland v to have dinner. and let me tell u, it is ultra HIPPENING there la, got cafes, restaurants, bars, eateries and an entire varied spectrum of whatnots. anyways, we shld go there sometimes someday, when pple like mel ho and hongyi feel guilty about their lack of enthusiasm and participation in GLC activities.

but that's besides the main point of my post today. we went crystal jade (the original one, not the la mian xiao long bao one) and the food....

SUCKS. i give it a 4 out of 10. yeah. seriously, it's super cheat money and only SOME dishes are good... geez, everything else was so sub-standard even though the price was super-standard.

wah lao, talk about supernormal profits and low consumer surplus la.

and then we proceeded to haagen-dazs. which added on to the horrible eating experience. the service was so poor, we got offered THREE dishes that we never ordered, and they forgot to serve some dishes we DID order. to add on to my misery (which was already of substantial amount), the ice cream that they served was all melty and liquidy!

OH HORRORS!! IMAGINE THAT!!! I COULD'VE SUFFERED A BURST BLOOD VESSEL ON THE SPOT!! LIQUID ICE CREAM?!!? IF I WANTED TO EAT THAT, I MIGHT AS WELL HAVE DRANK MILK OR UHT CREAM OR SOMETHING!!

and that rounds up my disgusting, appetite-losing experience at the 2 above-mentioned offending dining places. yeah. that's all. sorry, just wanted to rant about it.
